Commander of the Navy pays courtesy call on Admiral of the Fleet, Wasantha Karannagoda

The Commander of the Navy, Vice Admiral Kanchana Banagoda called on the Admiral of the Fleet, Wasantha Karannagoda in Ethul Kotte, Colombo today (28 Feb 25).

During the discussion, Admiral of the Fleet, Wasantha Karannagoda congratulated Vice Admiral Kanchana Banagoda on reaching the zenith of his naval career as the 26th Commander of the Sri Lanka Navy. He also expressed his best wishes for the Commander of the Navy to navigate the Navy to greater heights.

Symbolizing a mutual exchange of respect, the Commander of the Navy presented a memento to the Admiral of the Fleet who reciprocated the gesture by presenting a book authored by himself.
