Navy renders assistance to ship crew transfers

The Navy, on 28th May 2020, rendered assistance to transfer a group of foreign nationals who arrived at the Mattala Rajapaksa International Airport in a special plane, to board their ships at the port of Galle. Apart from that, the Navy also provided safe transport facilities to another group of foreigners from the same ships to the Mattala Rajapaksa International Airport, to fly their homes.

Navy cleans up debris under Wakwella and Dodangoda bridges

The Navy cleaned the underside of Dodangoda Bridge and Wakwella Bridge in Galle, which had been clogged with tree remains and debris washed away by fast stream of Gin Ganga, for making free flow of the water to avert a possible threat of flood, today (27th May 2020).
