"One million trees for unity" programme mooted by Alliance Finance Ltd. launched a tree planting programme in Jaffna on 22^nd November 2019. Sri Lanka Navy assisted in this effort.

The training ship ‘Perekop’ of the Russian Navy, which arrived in Sri Lanka on 19th November, departed from the port of Hambantota on completion of a successful tour today (21^st November 2019). The Sri Lanka Navy bade customary farewell to the departing ship in accordance with naval traditions.
