On successful completion of their basic training, fourteen (14) naval officers of the 01/2018 Direct Entry batch passed out at the main parade ground of the Naval and Maritime Academy in Trincomalee on 12th October 2018. This batch is comprised of 05 officers belonging to the Technical Branch and 09 officers of the Volunteer Naval Force, including 03 lady officers.

Chief of Staff of the Sri Lanka Navy, Rear Admiral Piyal de Silva along with Director Generals of the Navy extended best wishes to the retiring officer who is celebrating his 60th birthday today.
