Sri Lanka Navy won the division ‘A’ championship at the All-Island Veterans’ Table Tennis Tournament 2017 organized by the Sri Lanka Veterans Table Tennis Association.

The teams of Sri Lanka Navy and PLAN ship Qi Ji Guang that arrived in Sri Lanka on a goodwill visit yesterday (10th November) competed in several friendly sporting events in the sports ground of SLNS Gemunu in Welisara today.

The Task Commander and Director Dalian Naval Academy, Rear Admiral Yan Zheng Ming and Commanding Officer, Captain Ye Kaihna, of the PLAN ship Qi Ji Guang which arrived in Sri Lanka on a goodwill visit today (10th November), called on Commander Western Naval Area, Rear Admiral Niraja Attygalle at the Western Naval Command Head Quarters.

Commodore Susila Senadeera who holds office as the Director General Civil Engineering of the Sri Lanka Navy, has been appointed as the Director Engineering of Presidential Staff.
