Naval personnel attached to SLNS Theraputta located in Silawathurai in the North Western Naval Command arrested 5 local fishermen engaged in illegal fishing activities using unauthorized nets in Silawathurai Seas yesterday (4).

Interest-free loans granted to 90 senior sailors

Navy declares open its 59th Reverse Osmosis plant

Following a visionary concept of His Excellency the President Maithripala Sirisena and at the directives of Project Director of Presidential Task Force on Prevention of Chronic Kidney Disease, Mr. Asela Iddawela, three more Reverse Osmosis (RO) plants installed by Sri Lanka Navy's Research and Development Unit, were declared open today (2).
