The Sri Lanka Navy yesterday (11), rendered assistance to transfer a critically ill fisherman ashore, who went onboard a multiday fishing vessel named ‘Amith Putha’ from Negombo.

Naval personnel attached to SLNS Welusumana located in Mandathivu in the Northern Naval Command found turtle meat and a sea turtle alive from a fishing boat, during a search carried out at Gurunagar Jetty yesterday (11).
