The annual Katina Pinkama ceremony of Nagadeepa Purana Rajamaha Viharaya, on the island of Nainativu in Jaffna, was successfully held with the assistance of the Sri Lanka Navy on 30th and 31st of October 2023.

Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force (JMSDF) destroyer AKEBONO (DD 108) which arrived in Trincomalee on 28th October 2023 on a formal visit, departed the island today (31st October). The ‘Trinco Dialogue’ Maritime Symposium 2023 was successfully held at the Admiral Wasantha Karannagoda Auditorium, Naval and Maritime Academy (NMA) in Trincomalee on 27th October 2023.
