Sri Lanka Navy’s Colours Night - 2014 was held at the Eastern Naval Command’s Admiral Wasantha Karannagoda Auditorium on 05th April 2014.

Commander of the Navy, Vice Admiral Jayanath Colombage was the Chief Guest at the New Year Raffle Draw organized by the Sri Lanka Navy Seva Vanitha Unit and “Bakmaha Udanaya” organized by the Western Naval Command on 11th April 2014 at SLNS Gemunu in Welisara.

As part of the Navy’s environmental health improvement project, a biogas plant was constructed at the Rapid Action Boat Squadron (RABS) Headquarters at Gangewadiya in Eluwankulam under the patronage of Commander North Western Naval Area, Rear Admiral Dayananda Nanayakkara.
